A visibly frustrated Moises Henriques was forced to walk off the ground on the final day of NSW’s Sheffield Shield match against Tasmania with a side strain.
The all-rounder bowled just two balls in his ninth over before leaving the field, not before he slammed the ball into the turf in frustration. He was prepared to deliver the third delivery of his over before throwing the ball into the ground.
Henriques then grabbed his cap and jumper from the standing umpire and immediately walked off the ground. His frustration was no doubt amplified by the fact that with eight overs remaining and no sign of a result, he asked the opposition for their agreement to call it quits but James Faulkner, who was just short of his century, refused.
