Indian opening batsman Shikhar Dhawan on Wednesday shared a lovely birthday message for his wife Ayesha Mukherjee.
Dhawan’s family stays in Australia, and the southpaw is currently with the team for Sri Lanka. He is usually accompanied by his wife whenever he is on the tour with the national side. But this time, Ayesha chose not to travel to Sri Lanka with Shikhar.
So, the ‘Gabbar’ of Indian cricket on the birthday of his wife, got a little emotional while sending his warm wishes and regards.
“Wising my beautiful wife @aesha.dhawan5 very happy birthday. Wish was celebrating it together, I am always there with u hun.Miss u..” wrote the Delhi lad.
Well, after playing a breathtaking knock of 190 runs in the first Test at Galle, Shikhar is now working his heart out to prepare himself for the second Test against Sri Lanka, starting on Thursday.
