MS Dhoni was conferred with a platinum bat on the occasion of his 300th ODI match by the Indian cricket team on Thursday. Captain Virat Kohli presented the former skipper with the special bat at the R Premadasa Stadium, Colombo.

Kohli, who is one of the biggest admirers of MSD was all in praise for his previous captain during the toss and also while honouring Dhoni.
“MS has been a legend of the game. We know the importance of him in our cricketing careers. 90 per cent of us started our careers under him,” Kohli said at the toss.
