In the 2nd ODI of the ongoing 5 match series between Sri Lanka and India, when Sri Lankan score was 41 after the end 7 overs, Indian pacer Jasprit Bumrah dismissed the host’s opening batsman Niroshan Dickwella on a slower delivery.
Bumrah pitched the ball up, which came off as a cutter and Dickwella spooned it in the air. Shikhar Dhawan, who was positioned at short mid wicket jumped in the air, caught hold of the ball and was careful to not loosen his grip when he fell to the ground.

After completing the catch, Shikhar thumped his thighs, just like the kabaddi players do after a successful raid or a tackle. He was jubilant, which was apparent in the way he rejoiced.
