Ben Stokes threw 15 punches in a minute in a street brawl which left him with a broken finger.
The England vice-captain is seen fighting with two men in footage obtained by The Sun.
Ben Stokes is held back after knocking the man to the ground.
He also broke his finger after throwing ’15 punches in a minute’.
One clutches a bottle and appears to be disarmed by Stokes, wearing a green T-shirt, dark trousers and white trainers.
The all-rounder then exchanges a series of blows with the pair.
After knocking the bottle man to the ground he appears to slap the second man around the face. England one-day teammate Alex Hales is heard urging Stokes to calm down in the video.
A witness told The Sun: “I saw Stokes throw 15 punches in one minute. No wonder he broke a finger.”
A man, 27, was taken to hospital with facial injuries after the brawl in Bristol at 2.30am on Monday.
Stokes spent the night in cells. He was quizzed on suspicion of causing actual bodily harm and later released on bail.
The row appeared to start as Stokes leapt to the defence of Hales and another friend. It is thought the unknown reveller swung a bottle at Stokes’s group, hitting one on the back.
In the footage, taken in the city’s Queens Road, a bottle is heard smashing on the floor as Stokes and the man fell to the ground.
The cricketer is dragged off as he aims more blows on the floor.
He stumbles to his feet and picks on another man, grabbing his t-shirt and swinging as people shout: “Oi, Stokes, enough, enough.”
Circled by three men dressed in black, the cricketer rounds on one and squares up to him.
The lad appears to back away and holds his hands up defensively as the other two try to calm Stokes.
Moments later the cricket ace drops his victim to the floor with a right hook.
Stokes, who bats left-handed and bowls right, then appears to slap another man in the face with his left hand.
The brawl erupted outside a branch of Paperchase.

Avon and Somerset’s police said investigations were ongoing yesterday.
Hales returned to Bristol to help detectives with their inquiries. The pair had been part of the England team which beat West Indies in a one-day international in the city on Sunday.
