A century from David Warner inspired Australia to a victory in the fourth one-day international against India, restoring some pride for the visitors with the series already lost.
Warner’s 124 in his 100th match helped his side set India 335 to win, a target that the hosts fell 21 runs short of after some classy bowling at the death from Australia.
While India won the five-match series after winning the first three encounters, Australia ended an 11-game losing streak away from home in Thursday’s fourth ODI at M. Chinnaswamy stadium in Bangalore.
Well, big players always perform on the biggest stages and David Warner too registered a spectacular century on his 100th appearance in ODIs and his wife Candice Warner was all over the moon.
Candice took to Twitter to express her elation and definitely, she was overwhelmed with her husband bashing a hundred on a landmark appearance. Her Tweet read, “100 in your 100th ODI match. Super proud of all you achieve. Your girls love you!” She sent her best wishes on behalf of her their daughters Indi Rae and Ivy Mae.
