Some relationships just refuse to die. It’s been a long time since actress Raai Laxmi has broken up with former Team India skipper MS Dhoni.
And now, after the release of Raai Laxmi’s upcoming movie, ‘Julie 2’ trailer went viral, the stories about her past relationship with Dhoni have also started doing the rounds.
According to Laxmi, the two of them dated for less than a year. Both the two professionals have moved on with their respective careers but the relationship remains a topic for gossip among the fans.
Talking to a daily, she was quoted as saying, “I’ve begun to believe that my relationship with Dhoni is like a stain or a scar which won’t go away for a long time. I am surprised that people still have the energy and patience left to talk about it even now. Every time TV channels dig into Dhoni’s past, they make it a point to bring up our relationship. I dread to think that someday my kids in future will see it on TV and ask me about it!”
She added, “I have had three or four relationships after Dhoni, but no one seems to have noticed it.”
Laxmi was also apprehensive about the revelation of her relationship in the movie “MS Dhoni: An Untold Story”. Speaking about the same she said, “I hope not. Though there was an indirect approach to knowing the story from my side I have not given any such consent so they cannot claim a relationship existed unless they take names in the film.”

Raai Laxmi, who has featured in several Malayalam, Tamil and Kannada films in her 10-year long career in the South Indian film industry started dating MS Dhoni during the inaugural season of the Indian Premier League in 2008.
Laxmi was so smitten by Dhoni that she then even said in an interview that she would marry Dhoni if he proposes to her. Later, Dhoni married Sakshi Singh Rawat in 2010.
