Rohit Sharma wishes Manish Pandey on his birthday in style

India opening batsman in limited overs formats Rohit Sharma has sent a birthday wish to his teammate Manish Pandey in his own style.

The Karnataka lad turned 28 on Sunday and is set to become a vital cog in Indian middle-order in the future. He is tipped to be the successor of Yuvraj Singh at the number 4 position after his recent performances on the Sri Lanka tour.

Manish has been selected for the first three ODI matches against Australia, earlier on Sunday. Having played plenty of cricket at domestic level and for India A team, many cricket experts do believe that Pandey could be the future of Indian cricket in the middle order.

Meanwhile, Rohit has called Manish Pandey as Chulbul Pandey (name of Bollywood actor Salman Khan’s character in superhit hindi film ‘Dabangg’) and wished him a lot of success with Team India in the coming days.

Rohit’s tweet read: “Hey Chulbul Pandey many happy returns of the day. Lots of success around the corner manish pandey”

Manish also took to Twitter and thanked Rohit for his message. “Thankyou #hitman”, Pandey wrote in reply.

Well, Manish is keen to play a couple of games in the Karnataka Premier League (KPL) this week to prepare well for the series against Australia that will begin next Sunday.
