After watching Sachin Tendulkar playing cricket for 24 long years, the admirer’s, fans and followers came to know the real-life struggle and hard work of the ‘Master Blaster’ after watching his biographical film ‘Sachin: A Billion Dreams’.
Directed by James Erskine, the film was released on May 26 and showed the tale of a restless 10-year-old Sachin and his journey from watching India’s first World Cup winning skipper Kapil Dev lift the trophy, to the fulfillment of his dream of holding it in his hands for India.
The ‘God of Cricket’ himself acted in the film where he narrated his story and explained what it took to become a successful cricketer. The critics also acclaimed the film and was also loved by others.
Well now, after 3 months of the movie release, a little fan of Sachin Tendulkar wrote him a letter after recently watching the biopic.
Sachin received a heartwarming handwritten note from a six-year-old girl which he shared on his social media account. The girl named Taara wrote that she liked the film very much and wished to meet Sachin and his entire family including wife Anjali and children Sara, Arjun.
The little girl wrote, “Dear Sachin uncle, My Name is Taara (like Sara didi) but I am six years old. I recently saw your movie and I loved it. I laughed when I saw what a naughty child you were. I cried when I saw your last match. Sachin uncle, I want to come and meet you, Sara didi, Arjun Bhaiya and Anjali Aunty. May I Please?”
Sachin was highly obliged by the lovely letter and in return, he blessed her for future. He replied, “Hi, Taara! Thank you so much for writing to me.. I’m really glad that you enjoyed the movie. Keep smiling.”
