Trinbago Knight Riders (TKR), owned by Bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khan won the Caribbean Premier League (CPL) final on Sunday by three wickets. The final game of the tournament was played at the Brian Lara Stadium in Trinidad and at their home ground, TKR didn’t disappoint their local fans.
Thanks to an explosive cameo in the end by Kevon Cooper that TKR successfully chased the 136 run target set up by St Kitts and Nevis Patriots (SNP) with one over to go.
Thrilled by TKR’s performance, Shah Rukh expressed his happiness on Twitter.
