Former Indian skipper MS Dhoni is arguably the most popular face in International cricket. Though he is no longer the captain of Team India still there is nothing that can keep him away from taking the leadership role. During the second ODI against Australia at the Eden Gardens, Dhoni was at his best while providing his words of advice to the young wrist spinners, Yuzvendra Chahal and Kuldeep Yadav.
The stump microphones managed to capture Dhoni’s words and the Indian fans are loving the way he is helping the bowlers and nurturing the current skipper Virat Kohli.
When Yuzvendra Chahal came in to bowl in the 15th over of 2nd innings, Dhoni was heard asking Hardik Pandya to move two steps back. He was expecting Steve Smith to come down the track. “Do kadam piche rahna (Stay back a couple of steps),” Dhoni quoted.
Later in the 23rd over, Dhoni was heard sharing a few words of advice to Chahal once again. The young leg-spinner was bowling well but had the dangerous hitting batsman Glenn Maxwell to negotiate with. Chahal took the advice from Dhoni and bowled a leg stump line which the batsman failed to read and MSD completed the stumping in a flash.
That one rare EPIC celebration from #Dhoni ! 💛🙌🏻

“Ball jyada ghumega to dande me daal dena (If the ball turns a lot, bowl at the stumps),” Dhoni was heard saying to Chahal.
Kuldeep Yadav, who bagged a hat-trick in Kolkata, also revealed how Dhoni helped him prior to the hat-trick ball. The Chinaman bowler after the match said, “I asked Mahi bhai what I should bowl, he said ‘tujhe jaisa lagta hai wo daal (bowl what you want)’. This is special for me, changed the game for us. Really proud moment.”
A hat-trick for @imkuldeep18. He becomes the third Indian to achieve this feat, after Kapil Dev and Chetan Sharma #INDvAUS pic.twitter.com/1VNgiDUvzj
