Twitter is having fun after Imam-ul-Haq calls sports journalist Fazeela Saba ‘aunty’

In the third ODI of the recently concluded series between Pakistan and Sri Lanka at Abu Dhabi, Pakistani opener Imam-ul-Haq scored a century on his debut, helping his side winning the match and also the series.

Pakistan later went on to beat Sri Lanka 5-0, their sixth white-wash ever.

An ODI century on debut became all the more special for Imam as he became only the second Pakistani to do so and 13th overall.

Imam’s performance also led to immediate fan following, which included journalist Fazeela Saba, who is a leading sports anchor, writer and analyst with PTV Sports.

Congratulating the young lad, Fazeela Saba took to Twitter and wrote, “Century on debut what an achievement Imam ul Haq.”

Imam responded to the post by calling her “aunty” and since then the conversation has taken its own route.

After the ‘aunty’ reaction went viral all over, Fazeela wrote another post which was a great comeback for such a pun by Imam.

“Undoubtedly the hero of the series our very own Imam Ul Haq congrats from your aunty,” the journalist tweeted.
