Twitter reacts as David Miller smashes fastest T20I century off just 35 balls

South Africa’s star batsman David Miller smashed the fastest ever T20I century, finished with a 36-ball unbeaten knock of 101 against Bangladesh in the second T20I at Potchefstroom.

Hashim Amla scored a 51-ball 85 before Miller took the mantle in the death overs, scoring 67 runs after Amla’s dismissal in the 17th over. Record tumbled in the process as South Africa posted a massive total of 224 for 4 in front of the visitors.

35 balls taken by Miller to score his maiden T20I hundred is the fastest by any player in T20 Internationals. He eclipsed his former teammate Richard Levi‘s hundred off 45 balls against New Zealand in Hamilton in 2012.
