Sad news for fans of Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma

Ever since news of Virat Kohli requesting the BCCI to rest him in the month of December broke, fans have been anticipating that the Indian skipper has asked for a break from his hectic schedule in order to settle down in his personal life.

According to a report in The New Indian Express, Kohli looked all set to tie the knot with his long-time girlfriend Anushka Sharma in December this year.

Kohli, who on Monday was named as the captain for the first two Tests against Sri Lanka, had requested the BCCI to rest him in the month of December citing ‘personal reasons’.

However, much to the disappointment of the fans of the celebrity couple, the talent agency which manages the Bollywood actress Anushka Sharma’s career, told NDTV, “These are just rumours doing the rounds. No truth to it.”

Well, it looks like the recent advertisement, where the two appeared together for a clothing brand ‘Manyavar’ and was seen taking the wedding vows in it, has led to this rumour.

On the work front, Anushka was last seen with Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan in ‘Jab Harry Met Sejal’ which bombed at the box office. She will next be seen in psychological drama ‘Pari’.

Virat is currently spearheading Team India in ODI series against New Zealand.
