Team India captain Virat Kohli will put away his cricketing clothes and don football jersey as he prepares to lead All Heart FC against All Stars FC in the Celebrity Clasico match on October 15.
While it would come as a pleasant surprise to many fans but this is actually not the first time when cricket and Bollywood will come together for a social cause with sports as the medium.
In 2016, Virat Kohli Foundation joined hands with Abhishek Bachchan‘s ‘Playing for Humanity’ to hold a charity football match which had the likes of MS Dhoni and Ravichandran Ashwin playing the game. Abhishek Bachchan’s side included top Bollywood actors like Ranbir Kapoor and Arjun Kapoor. The game eventually ended in a 2-2 stalemate.
