Former India captain MS Dhoni is one of the most followed cricketers across the world.
Right from the day when he made his International debut, he became a sensation for the cricket lovers. In those days, his hairstyle became equally famous as his aggressive batting.
Fans started copying the way the Ranchi born cricketer used to do his long hairs. Later, when he cut them short, people found him more handsome and copied that too. Whether be it playing on the field or his fashion style, Dhoni has been trying a lot of stuff. But there is one thing which he hasn’t tried ever. Have you ever seen a tattoo on MSD’s body?
Nowadays, there has been an upward trend of getting tattoos among the cricketers. Earlier, there were only footballers who used to have large tattoos on their bodies, but now with the course of time, numerous Indian cricketers have got inked.
We have Virat Kohli, Shikhar Dhawan, KL Rahul, Manish Pandey, Umesh Yadav, Suresh Raina, Ravindra Jadeja and others, who have tattoos on their body.
And unlike all of them, Dhoni doesn’t have any. The reason behind this is very amusing or rather strange!
The reason is MS Dhoni’s fear of needles
Yes, arguably the greatest wicketkeeper-batsman of the modern era who has scared numerous bowlers with his batting has a phobia of needles.
According to the reports as in RCVJ (a popular entertainment website), Mahi is scared of syringes. Whether it’s a doctor’s syringe or tattoo maker’s needle, he cannot even think to face any of them, and hence doesn’t have a tattoo on his body.
