Riding on a brilliant effort from the bowlers and the fielders, India defeated New Zealand by 6 runs in the third and final T20I at Thiruvananthapuram to seal the series 2-1.

India scored 67/5 batting first, after put in by Blackcaps skipper Kane Williamson. Manish Pandey top scored for India with 17 runs, as Tim Southee and Ish Sodhi picked 2 wickets each.
The pitch was difficult to bat on and the Indian bowlers learned a lot after seeing Kiwi bowlers bowl and they executed the game plan perfectly.
New Zealand could not found a great start in the game as Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Jasprit Bumrah kept the pressure on them with the help of Yuzvendra Chahal.
Colin de Grandhomme tried his best to take the visitors home, but Indian bowlers proved to be too good for Kiwis.
