Team India’s right-handed batsman Rohit Sharma was quick to send his warm regards to the former Indian fast bowler Zaheer Khan, who recently got married to actress Sagarika Ghatge and stepped down from the isle of bachelorhood.
While wishes came down pouring for the celebrity couple from the fans, cricket and Bollywood fraternity, a congratulatory message from Rohit was also being expected.
Rohit is known to be great friends with Zaheer. Time and again, the duo have been seen sharing banters on the social media that speaks volumes about their bonhomie.
In his tweet on Thursday, Rohit mentioned that the last man from their group is down now. He welcomed Zaheer to the club of married cricketers. He also wished the couple a blissful marriage. The newly married couple will be hosting their reception at the Taj Mahal Palace and Tower in Mumbai on November 27.
