India skipper Virat Kohli ran out the Kiwi batsman Henry Nicholls with a brilliant direct hit during the first T20I between India and New Zealand at Feroz Shah Kotla stadium on Wednesday.
In the 15th over of New Zealand’s innings, Nicholls hit the ball towards mid-on and sprinted for a single. Not many batsmen have the courage to steal a quick single while the ball in is Kohli’s stands.

But Nicholls ran and paid the price as Kohli rattled the stumps at non-striker’s end with his rocket throw.
