AB de Villiers congratulates Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma on their wedding

Indian captain Virat Kohli has been inundated with congratulatory messages after his marriage to Anushka Sharma on December 11 in Italy.

While all close friends and relatives wished Virat and Anushka for their new innings of life, the congratulatory message of one close friend of Virat Kohli was something that the fans kept waiting for. It was none other than his good friend, AB de Villiers, whose good wishes seemed to be pending.

But as the adage goes, better late than never, AB de Villiers recently shared a message for the newly-wed celebrity couple.

The South African superstar has posted a video message for Virat and Anushka on his official app. In the message, ABD exclaimed that he was surprised to see the news. He certainly did not see it happening in such quick time.

De Villiers congratulated the couple and even had a cheeky little advice for them. He hopes that the couple will have many kids to come now!

“Congratulations to Virat and Anushka for getting married. Took me by surprise. But I always knew who had a surprise up your sleeve. So, congrats to my good friend Virat, and Anushka. I know you guys are going to have a very happy life together and hopefully, many kids to come,” De Villiers said.

Both Kohli and ABD have mutual respect for each other. They have played some memorable knocks together for RCB in the Indian Premier League (IPL).

The two friends will be on the opposite sides soon as India and South Africa face off in three Tests, six ODIs and six T20Is starting from 5th January 2018 in Cape Town.
