This is huge! After months of speculations and weeks of making headlines on a daily basis, it has finally happened. Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma have tied the knot in a private ceremony in Milan, Italy.
As per the reports in Filmfare, the ceremony took place earlier this morning at Borgo Finocchieto in Italy’s Tuscany, amidst close family and friends.
The wedding was a typical Punjabi affair and no one except the people on the guest list were allowed to enter the resort. While the couple had tried their best to keep the marriage a secret, reports in various media houses had all but confirmed that they were going to tie the knot sooner rather than later.
Virat and Anushka will now be throwing a grand reception in Mumbai on 21st December. India has to play a T20I against Sri Lanka in Mumbai on 22nd December for which the entire team will be in the city, that’s why they have picked 21st as the big day.
The reception is expected to be attended by the biggest names of Cricket and Bollywood fraternity.
