Indian captain Virat Kohli tied the knot with Bollywood actress Anushka Sharma in a private ceremony in Italy on Monday morning.
Kohli tweeted the announcement late on Monday night. “Today we have promised each other to be bound in love for ever. We are truly blessed to share the news with you.This beautiful day will be made more special with the love and support of our family of fans & well wishers. Thank you for being such an important part of our journey,” he tweeted.

The couple will be hosting a reception in New Delhi for their relatives on December 21, followed by a reception for industry friends and cricketers in Mumbai on December 26.
The newlyweds are set to travel to South Africa where Virat will start preparing for the upcoming series against the Proteas.
As Kohli broke the news of his wedding with Anushka on social media, the cricket fraternity took to Twitter to extend the warm wishes.
