Rohit Sharma is in the form of his life. The right-handed India opener and current captain, blasted his way to a 43-ball 118 single-handedly leading India to an 88-run victory against Sri Lanka in the second T20I at the Holkar stadium in Indore. The knock helped India to post the joint second-highest total in T20 International.
His second hundred in the T20I format wrote him into the record books as he reached the three-figure mark in just 35 balls, which is the joint-fastest in T20Is. His dominating performance has most experts gasping, and now he has drawn praise from South African batsman David Miller, the man whose record he equalled.
Miller scored his 35-ball century (unbeaten 101 off 36 balls) against Bangladesh back in October 2017. The left-handed middle-order batsman took to Twitter to congratulate the Hitman of Indian cricket.
“Congrats Rohit Sharma! What a performance”, tweeted Miller.

Rohit admired Miller’s talent in the same way in his reply and wrote, “Thanks David Miller just trying to match up to your clean hitting.”
