If Sri Lankan players get a chance to bar one player from the opposition, it has to be Rohit Sharma. Rohit Sharma was the first player to hit two double centuries in ODIs and before someone tries to level it, he raised his number to three double centuries and two of them are against Sri Lanka.
It was almost impossible to stop him after his century, he loved to make it into double and he does it in flash. An emotion spurred inning had two parts, one in which he made his first century off 115 balls whereas in second, he smashed all the Lankan bowlers and took only 35 balls to complete his double.

Unlike ODIs and T20Is, Rohit is yet to cement his place in the longest format of the game but he had a dream debut in Tests at the Eden Gardens. In the farewell series of batting great Sachin Tendulkar, Rohit got his Test cap from the Master Blaster himself and he didn’t let him down.
Rohit played a quality test knock of 177 runs off 301 balls with 23 fours and a six; he spent 6 hours on the field. He is one of those few players who scored a century and also got the Man of the Match award on the Test debut.
