Twitter goes crazy as MS Dhoni takes DRS call even before umpire raises his finger

When it comes to Umpire’s Decision Review System (DRS), former Indian captain MS Dhoni is no less than God. He’s very accurate and we have seen this on many occasions.

Cricket lovers are so crazy behind his DRS call that they literally renamed it as ‘Dhoni Review System’.

On Sunday, during the first ODI against Sri Lanka at Dharamsala, on the 6th ball of the 33rd over left-arm spinner, Sachith Pathirana hit Team India’s No.9 Jasprit Bumrah on the back pad.

After the Sri Lankans appealed, the umpire Anil Chaudhary was about to make his decision, but before he could raise his finger for ‘out’, Dhoni asked for a DRS.

The referral was successful as the ball-tracking showed that the ball had pitched and hit the batsman outside the off-stump. Thus it saved Bumrah’s wicket.

Here’s how Twitter reacted to MS Dhoni’s DRS call:
