Twitter goes crazy as Rohit Sharma smashes 3rd ODI double century

Rohit Sharma hit his third double hundred in ODIs in a sensational fashion against Sri Lanka during the second one-day international in Mohali.

The right-handed batsman became the first player on the planet to cross the 200-run mark thrice in ODI’s and in the process surpassed multiple records as India set a target of 393 runs.

Co-incidentally, among his three double tons, the Mumbai lad has registered two against the Lankans.

The 30-year-old in one over of Suranga Lakmal hit four sixes and rocketed to 140 from 116. After scoring his hundred in 90 balls, Rohit brought up his next hundred in just 36 balls.
