Ahead of the 2nd ODI between India and Sri Lanka at Mohali on Wednesday (December 13), MS Dhoni and Hardik Pandya were involved in a 100-metre race during the warm-up session.
At 36, Dhoni is in the evening of his international career, but that doesn’t hold him back from doing his fitness drills and contributing to the team. Pandya, the 24-year-old all-rounder also got to know how tough it is to beat the veteran cricketer.
Initially, it was Pandya who took the lead in the race but Dhoni accelerated his pace in a flash and beat the all-rounder in the end.
With this, Dhoni has inspired a lot of youngsters not only in the Indian squad but across the country who aspire to play at the highest level.
The official Twitter handle of the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) posted the video of Dhoni vs Pandya 100m dash.
