MS Dhoni stepped down from the captaincy of Indian limited-overs side in early January last year but continued his career as a player.

Now, he is no less than a mentor of the team in the field under Virat Kohli’s captaincy.

Dhoni with his prolific batting turned the games in India’s favour during critical stages on several occasions, also his glove work behind the stumps was as sharp as ever throughout the year.

Here the top 5 records created by MS Dhoni in International cricket in 2017:

1.) MS Dhoni broke the record of most number of not outs in ODI’s – 76. He went past Chaminda Vaas and Shaun Pollock’s 73 not outs in this format.
