Gautam Gambhir posts a tweet for Suresh Raina’s wife; fans are loving it

Veteran Indian cricketers, Gautam Gambhir and Suresh Raina have both been out of the Indian cricket team for quite a while. The last time when they had come face to face was during the Delhi reception of Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma on December 27, 2017.

Though both Gambhir and Raina have always had a mutual admiration for each other, this time it was the latter’s wife Priyanka that earned the respect of Delhi lad.

Priyanka Raina, who will be hosting her own show on a radio station Red FM, will look to create more awareness towards a social cause involving the betterment of the status of women in society.

Appreciating her effort, Gambhir took to Twitter to wish Priyanka best of luck for the noble cause.

“Not easy to be a woman when they face frequent hardships. A Raina – not Im Raina – is out to set it right. Join me in wishing Priyanka Raina for her show ‘The Priyanka Raina Show’ on Red FM every Saturday 9-11 AM, Sunday 2-4 PM #LetsCheerForBitiyaRani,” tweeted Gambhir.

Suresh Raina quickly thanked Gambhir for the wish and also lauded him for the work he has been doing through the Gautam Gambhir foundation (GGF).

“Thank you Gautam Gambhir! You are doing a tremendous job by supporting girl child education through #GGF. Really proud of your efforts for this cause,” the southpaw tweeted.

Twitteratis loved the fact that Gambhir took out time to congratulate Mrs. Raina on her initiative.
