The defending champions Mumbai Indians is the most successful team in the IPL. MI has won the title for three times, more than any other team.
Mumbai Indians is the perfect example of the word “Team”; they do have big names like from Sachin Tendulkar to Rohit Sharma but their balance in the team brought them to success.
Ahead of the start of the new edition, they have already impressed all in the retentions. A team needs a batsman, a bowler, and an all-rounder, Mumbai kept all of them in the team. India’s explosive opener and MI’s captain Rohit Sharma, Jasprit Bumrah and Hardik Pandya.
After retaining all the Indian capped players, MI can consider two uncapped Indians, two overseas players or a combination for the use of RTM. Let’s check out their best options:
Kieron Pollard:
There is a no-brainer in the first choice for the use of RTM card in the auction. Kieron Pollard is someone whom Mumbai Indians boast as their own find. Pollard is the most destructive batsman and he has produced some magical innings for Mumbai Indians. Mumbai has never kept him away from them; he is one of those few players who belong to only one franchise throughout their IPL career and we believe that it will continue this season.
Krunal Pandya:
Well, this is tricky but Krunal Pandya is worth spending an RTM card. Mumbai believes in match winners and he is a special one, a left arm cunning bowler, and a pinch hitter. Krunal has done so much for the Mumbai Indians so far and his complete availability in the past two seasons will give him an edge.
