Chennai Super Kings retained the trio of MS Dhoni, Suresh Raina and Ravindra Jadeja at the IPL 2018 player retention in Mumbai on Thursday.
Returning to the league after serving two year ban, CSK have retained their core players ahead of the January 27, 28 auctions.
With Chennai retaining 3 players, it still remains to be seen whether they use any of their remaining 2 Right to Match (RTM) cards during the auction, which now they can only use for uncapped Indian players or foreign players. The rules pave way for them to retain their star players such as Faf Du Plessis and Dwayne Bravo.
Also, CSK posted videos of Dhoni, Raina and Jadeja signing their respective contracts with the team.
