Kings XI Punjab hit the ground running when the IPL Auction began on Saturday with owner Preity Zinta bidding for almost every marquee player in the early going.
At one point, KXIP had bought five consecutive players including India veteran Yuvraj Singh. Preity was a happy person after grabbing Yuvi for the 11th edition of the tournament.
She took to Twitter to show her happiness over the return of the Punjab boy.
“Yesssssss ! @YUVSTRONG12 is back home at @lionsdenkxip and I cannot be happier 😘 #LivePunjabiPlayPunjabi #VivoIPLAuction #BalleBalle”, tweeted the Bollywood actress.

The KXIP franchise spent just 2 crores to bring back Yuvraj into the mix. The 36-year-old has a tremendous experience under his belt, having played Delhi Daredevils, Royal Challengers Bangalore, Sunrisers Hyderabad and King XI Punjab previously.
14 crores in 2014, 16 crores in 2015, 7 crores in 2016 – Yuvraj Singh attracted a total of 37 crores in three different IPL auctions courtesy Royal Challengers Bangalore, Delhi Daredevils and Sunrisers Hyderabad.
