Rashid Khan and Suresh Raina praise each other on Twitter

India veteran Suresh Raina may currently be out of the spotlight, but the discarded left-handed batsman has been working hard to make a comeback into the national squad.

The past few weeks have gone well for the southpaw as he cleared BCCI’s mandatory Yo-Yo fitness test and was also retained by Chennai Super Kings (CSK) franchise for the upcoming Indian Premier League (IPL).

However, Raina also possesses an impressive talent of singing and made it public by recording a song named ‘Bitiya Rani’ – dedicated to his daughter Gracia as a part of a promotion for his wife Priyanka’s radio show.

Among the many who congratulated Raina for the song, there is the young Afghanistani spinner Rashid Khan.

Rashid took to Twitter to appreciate the song and expressed that he really ‘loved it’. “Just listened a Song BITIYA RANI sang by ImRaina really Love it,” tweeted Rashid Khan.

Raina was quick to acknowledge the good wishes sent in from Rashid. He thanked the Afghanistani spinner and praised him for doing well in his cricket career. “Thank you so much rashidkhan_19 bhai! You are doing very well! See you soon,” wrote Suresh Raina.

Rashid replied to the U.P. lad’s tweet and wrote, “My pleasure ImRaina Bhai INSHALLAH See you Soon.”

Talking about Rashid’s on-field form, the young Afghani cricketer has had a tremendous run across the world and is currently playing his trade in the ongoing Big Bash League (BBL).
