After Indian captain, Virat Kohli, the Hitman of cricket- Rohit Sharma failed to impress the spectators as he was dismissed by Kagiso Rabada for a score of just 11 on the second Day of the first Test at Newlands in Capetown.
With the fall of three wickets on Day 1, expectations were high from star Indian batsman Rohit Sharma and Cheteshwar Pujara. But Rohit was not able to live up to the expectation and his painstaking innings came to an end when Rabada dismissed him
Twitterati, who were already angry with the selection of playing eleven as Rohit was given preference instead of vice-captain Ajinkya Rahane, brutally trolled the Mumbaikar for his performance.
Here are some of the Tweet reactions:
Rohit Sharma is the greatest mystery of Indian cricket. He is always failure-proof. A flat track bully. All of us know about his technical issues, his away record, yet…… https://t.co/xtHqyLNouI

No worries Rohit Sharma.. you can always come back to India and hit another 200 on a flat lifeless pitch in a meaningless ODI and get the sheep to swoon all over you. #flatpitchbully #IndiaVsSA

@sanjaymanjrekar Stay a commentator. Stop promoting rohit sharma and pulling down ajinkya rahane. Rahane's record outside india is tremendous. Dropping him is wrong.

They say Test match is the real cricket. Unfortunately, Rohit Sharma's real talent is not compatible for test matches.

Wow … another double from the great Rohit Sharma
Considering he is playing abroad, double figures are an achievement, aren’t they!
