Virat Kohli struck a majestic ton while tweakers Kuldeep Yadav and Yuzvendra Chahal spun a web around the hosts as India trounced South Africa by 124 runs to take an unassailable 3-0 lead in the 6-match series, at the Newlands Cricket Ground in Cape Town on Wednesday.
Kohli remained unbeaten on 160 and with that, he went past Sourav Ganguly (127 runs at Johannesburg in 2001) in the list of a highest individual score by an Indian batsman against South Africa in South Africa.
Bollywood actress Anushka Sharma was in awe after watching her husband’s knock, and couldn’t keep calm about it.
She took to Instagram to share a story about Virat’s success. Anushka posted a picture of Virat playing and wrote, “What a guy” with a love emoticon and “100!!!”
As Virat continued to wreak havoc in Cape Town, she kept sharing even more pictures of him in her story.
In the last pic, she wrote, “Uff What a guy!!!” and added some clap emotions.
Anushka had posted a set of similar Insta stories for his husband, as he bagged his first ODI century in the Rainbow Nation on February 4.
