Bollywood and cricket are the two of the most glamorous professions in India, and whenever people from these two professions come together, they grab all the attention of the media and the fans.
Last year in December, the Indian cricket team skipper Virat Kohli married Bollywood actress Anushka Sharma at Tuscan in Italy. Recently, the news broke through about all-rounder Hardik Pandya dating Elli AvrRam who is a popular celebrity in India after her participation in the TV reality show Bigg Boss.
However, the actress herself has come forward and quashed all the rumors even lashing out at the mentality of the people for the same.
“Let them (people) be curious in life. Why do I need to clarify anything? By talking about these rumors, I’d just be giving more fodder for gossip (material). Anyway, so many wrong things have been written over the years, but I’ve never gone out and clarified (them),” she told Hindustan Times on Sunday.
Elli also mentioned being a celebrity one has to get used to all these things and also added that she doesn’t want to talk about her personal life more. “Once you become a known face, people will follow you for gossip and news. But, we are not going to lock ourselves up. So, you can’t do much to stop these rumors,” she continued saying that people won’t believe any of her clarifications.
“People have such strong mentality that no matter what I say (about Hardik), they will be like, ‘Oh, she is lying. We know the truth. She is hiding something’,” the actress concluded.
Well, all the buzz started about Hardik dating Elli when the beautiful diva attended the wedding ceremony of Hardik’s elder brother, Krunal Pandya. Her presence was a surprise for everyone and was also seen clicking pictures with the all-rounder. The rumors were fuelled even more when she was spotted at a party organized Aesha Dhawan, the wife of Shikhar Dhawan, on the occasion of their daughter Rhea’s 13th birthday.
Elli was the one amongst all the wives of the Indian cricketers and her presence somewhat raised eyebrows of many.
