India has won the ICC Under-19 Cricket World Cup 2018 held in New Zealand, but it was not just about the victory but also a learning time for all the players who participated in it.

Even the IPL franchises kept their eyes on the world cup to fetch new talents for their side and they found some.

1.) Prithvi Shaw

Indian skipper and a talented young opening batsman Prithvi Shaw will now play for Delhi Daredevils in the upcoming season of Indian Premier League. Shaw, who had a sensational record in all the domestic events and also in the ICC World Cup helped him to snap the deal of 1.2 crores for his first ever league appearance.

2.) Shubman Gill

India’s under-19 star Shubman Gill will be seen doing “Korbo Lorbo Jeet bo re” for Kolkata Knight Riders in this year’s IPL. Punjab’s explosive batsman was already the player to watch out for in the auction and Kolkata bagged him for 1.8 crores. It will be a great exposure for this young talent to play alongside Chris Lynn and Sunil Narine.
