Kevin Pietersen thanks Bollywood actress Shraddha Kapoor for her support in conserving rare wild animals

Kevin Pietersen has been very active in supporting the cause of the wildlife conservation in the recent times. The former England skipper has been posting updates about the same on the social media.

He is actively participating in activities of conserving rare wild animals and therefore, wants to work for the conservation of the wild buffalo and ‘hill myna’ bird in the state of Chhattisgarh in India.

Both wild buffalo and hilly myna are considered rare species, which are on the verge of extinction. The hill myna is especially famous for mimicking human language.

Pietersen, who represented England in 104 Tests scoring 8181 runs at an average of 42.78, informed his fans on social media that an organization called ‘SORAI’ is committed to working towards the protection and conservation of animals and birds, which are rare and getting extinct.

‘SORAI’ stands for Save our Rhinos Africa and India. In the recent times, the reckless poaching of the Rhinos has been on the rise. This has been a big concern for the wildlife activists. KP has been posting pictures and updates condemning such acts. It is worth noting that saving the Rhinos is not the only wildlife cause that Pietersen is supporting.

Recently, he adopted an orphaned Leopard in Raipur, Chhattisgarh. He adopted the leopard in a bid to show his support to save the endangered animal.

Pietersen also thanked Bollywood actress Shraddha Kapoor for her support in conserving rare wild animals.

Here’s what Kevin Pietersen posted for Bollywood Shraddha Kapoor:

“Topping off the most brilliant couple days in India for @sorai2018 with @shraddhakapoor. Thanks for being such a legend, SK! Your kindness to host us was hugely appreciated! #SORAI”, he wrote.
