Team India’s tour of South Africa came to an end with Men in Blue winning the T20I series 2-1 after defeating the Proteas in the third and final game in Capetown on Saturday.
Rohit Sharma led the India team in that match and after winning it, he joined the list of captains who have won all their first four T20Is. He is the first Indian and the sixth captain across the world to achieve this feat.
India’s tour of South Africa lasted for almost two months in which Virat Kohli & Co. competed against the South African team in all the formats of the game – Test, ODI and T20I.
After the first two Tests, wives of Indian cricketers flew back to India.
And now, when the Indian team is returning back, one post by Rohit Sharma proves how much he missed his wife Ritika during the limited overs series.
Rohit took to Instagram to post a photo of himself from South Africa with a caption, “End of a great 2 month tour. Time to get back to my ❤😊”
Rohit will again leave India and flew to Sri Lanka to play Nidahas Trophy in which he will be leading the team as many senior players have been rested and new players have been added in the squad to show their talent. Rohit will be in India for a week as the Tri-nation T20I series will be played from March 6.
