India captain Virat Kohli continued his excellent recent form by smashing a sparkling unbeaten century to lead his side to a comprehensive 124-run victory over South Africa in the third ODI at Newlands in Capetown.
Kohli made 160 not out from 159 balls as India, who had been put into bat, posted 303 for six in their 50 overs, before restricting their hosts to 179 all out to take a 3-0 lead in the series.
Kohli’s majestic ton was highly praised by the various cricketing legends and even the celebrities from B-Town. From Sachin Tendulkar to VVS Laxman and from Amitabh Bachchan to Anil Kapoor, many were left astounded on Twitter.
Alongside cricketing legends and celebrities, Kohli’s supreme form had the Pakistani sports anchor, Zainab Abbas awestruck as well. She took to Twitter to describe the Indian skipper’s form.
She tweeted, “What a player @imVkohli! #SAvIND.” This tweet won the hearts of many Indian and Pakistan fans.
