Virat Kohli (160 not out) and the wrist-spinning duo of Kuldeep Yadav (4/23) and Yuzvendra Chahal (4/46) starred as India thrashed South Africa by 124 runs to win the third ODI in Cape Town on Wednesday.
Chasing 304 runs to win, South Africa were bundled out for just 179 runs. With the victory at the New Lands, India has taken an unassailable 3-0 lead in the series. There is no way they can lose the series now, but South Africa can come back and level the series if they win the next three games.
Twitter has lauded the efforts of Kohli and the wrist spinners while the South African batting was slammed for their poor outing.
Here are some of the Twitter reactions:
52.2-2-190-21 for the wristies after today’s effort of 8/69. Outstanding from Kuldeep and Chahal. Congratulations India on another comprehensive victory #SAvIND https://t.co/CJKyhZ52zv

Wickets around SA definitely turn more these days, also a common trend players struggle against spin domestically.
