Nothing seems to be going right for Australian cricketers right now. Last week Australian Cricket board banned Steve Smith and David Warner for 12 months for ball-tampering scandal.
Both Steve Smith and David Warner appeared for a press conference and apologized for their actions.

After the scandal, both Steve Smith and David Warner resigned from the captaincy for Rajasthan Royals and Sunrisers Hyderabad respectively for IPL 2018.
With both of them missing the IPL, news is out that another Australian player to miss the tournament. Fast bowler Mitchell Starc was rested for the last test match against South Africa due to injuries. But later in an statement released by Cricket Australia on their website mentioned that Starc would be flying back to Australia as the injury was a tibial bone stress fracture in his right leg.
Starc was purchased by Kolkata Knight Riders for ₹9.4 crore. It is not a good news for KKR camp just a few days ahead of IPL. KKR will be allowed to choose a replacement player from the Registered and Available Player Pool. They are set to play their first match on 8th April against Royal Challengers Bangalore.
