India to host West Indies in October-November

India is set to host West Indies in October-November for a series involving three Tests, five ODIs and one T20I.

According to Times of India, Sourav Ganguly, President of Cricket Association of Bengal (CAB) announced that Eden Gardens will host the only T20I. The venues for rest of the matches are yet to be announced.

“We will host the Caribbean team for the one-off T20 international at the Eden Gardens,” Ganguly said on Saturday.

The last time when West Indies toured India in 2014, they had to return home midway after the fourth ODI in Dharamsala, due to a pay dispute with their cricket board.

Later, the Caribbean team was in India for the World T20 2016 which they won after defeating England in the finals under Darren Sammy’s captaincy.

India had toured West Indies in 2016 for a Test series, and a limited-overs series in 2017.
