Reports: Quinton de Kock made comments about David Warner’s wife

David Warner’s wife has become the centre of the altercation between the Australian vice-captain and Quinton de Kock after the South African allegedly made derogatory comments about his partner, Candice.

The Daily Telegraph has revealed the nature of the sledge which was captured by CCTV footage at the ground involving Warner occurred in the dressing rooms in Durban as Tea break was called on the fourth day of the Test match.

The Aussie opener was visibly infuriated at de Kock and had to be restrained on various occasions by teammates Steve Smith, Usman Khawaja and Tim Paine.

It is alleged the comments involved barbs about Candice Warner by the Proteas’ wicket-keeper batsman.

Candice Warner, formerly known as Candice Falzon, has also been the target of sledges from crowds in New Zealand and from the Barmy Army throughout the Ashes in Australia.

The former ironwoman and model is currently in South Africa with the couple’s two children.

Meanwhile, David Warner had also been the talk of social media after his spray towards Aiden Markram following his role in the run-out of former South African skipper AB de Villiers.
