England women’s cricketer Danielle Wyatt was in the news in 2014 when she proposed to Indian skipper Virat Kohli during the 2014 T20 World Cup.
She was a part of the recent England team which lifted the ICC Women’s World Cup 2017, defeating India in the big final at Lord’s.
Wyatt has also been named in the England squad for their tour of India later this month. The 26-year-old returns to the country where she made her England debut back in 2010 for the T20Is and one-day internationals.
The English all-rounder recently shared her excitement of India tour on Twitter and wrote, “Can’t wait to fly out to India next week & get back out there with the girls! 🏏 🇮🇳✈️ One of my favourite places to play.”
