A fan desires to take Mayanti Langer on dinner date; her response wins the internet

If you are a cricket fan in India, chances are along with the likes of Virat Kohli, MS Dhoni, Ravichandran Ashwin, Gautam Gambhir et al, there is another name that has almost become synonymous with the consumption of the sport.

Mayanti Langer, over the last few years, has become the face of the Indian cricket broadcast on television. From the studios in Mumbai to cricket stadiums all over the world, the 33-year-old sports presenter has made her mark in the male-dominated field of sports broadcasting.

Currently, Mayanti is busy in covering the ongoing 11th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL) which started on April 7. There is no denying that many people are her fans and actually love to see her on the screen. However, one of the fans loved her so much during the IPL that he asked her for a dinner date.

What did Mayanti reply?

The fan praised Mayanti fully for her work and her beauty in his tweet which read, “When I see you. I dnt mind watching IPL. You are a perfect blend of class & personality. I wish I was influential enough to take you dinner. I dont have words to say how beautiful you are.”

However, Mayanti’s response was surely heart-winning as she thanked her fan for all the praise and was ready to go for a dinner with him with her husband, Stuart Binny. “Thank you! My husband and I would love to join you,” she replied.
