Danielle Wyatt Thanks India ‘An Incredible Country’ With A Special Instagram Post

With the England women cricket team’s tour to India coming to an end, star all-rounder Danielle Wyatt has bids farewell to India with a special Instagram post.

England also played a T20 tri-series involving Australia followed by three-match ODI series. The visitors lost to Australia in the tri-series final and then suffered a 2-1 loss to India in the 50 overs format.

However, Wyatt personally had a memorable time in the subcontinent where she scored 304 runs throughout her stay. It also included a record 46-ball century against India in the 3rd T20i in the tri-series at Brabourne stadium. It made Wyatt only the second England woman cricketer to have scored a T20I century.

Recently admitted to being a fan of the Royal Challengers Bangalore in the IPL

Danielle Wyatt is quite popular among Indian fans as she proposed Indian star batsman Virat Kohli on Twitter back in 2014. She has often tweeted about him and his performances but the fun tweet was taken rather seriously. She recently also admitted to being a supporter of RCB and cricket lovers attributed it to the Kohli connection.

Earlier, she admitted that the tweet was reminded of her a lot but it did contribute to meeting him. “I actually met Virat a couple of times after that and he was like: “you’re the girl who sent that tweet… you can’t do that because people take it seriously”. He was a really nice, humble man,” Wyatt said.

The charming cricketer took to social media to thank India after the completion of the series. She also admitted she would be taking a lot of positives from this tour.

“India it’s been a pleasure. Always enjoy my time here. What an incredible country. Plenty of positives to take away with us and lots learned. Bring on the 🇬🇧 summer,” Wyatt said.
