Former Indian captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni’s cricketing journey has been so dramatic that Bollywood had to come up with a biopic to put forth his meteoric rise. From being a Ticket collector in The Indian Railways to becoming one of the most successful and glorified Indian cricket captains, the Ranchi star has seen it all.
It seems his life refuses to be dull even now as Dhoni is about to be conferred with the Padma Bhushan by the President of India on April 2, 2018, which also happens to be the same day when he heroically helped India lift the 2011 ICC World Cup.
For the award ceremony, Dhoni who holds the rank of Honorary Lieutenant-Colonel wore his official uniform of the Territorial Army and marched up to the President when his name was called upon.
The 36-year-old was congratulated by the cricketing world, Bollywood fraternity and fans on Twitter.
