Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) defeated Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) by 5 wickets on Saturday (April 15) to keep their winning streak alive. This is the first time that SRH has beaten KKR at the Eden Gardens.
SRH chased the modest total of 139 set by KKR with an over to spare. The orange army struggled against Knight Riders’ wrist spinners but captain Kane Williamson held his nerve and scored a magnificent half-century to seal the game for his side.
Sunil Narine held the batsmen tight but that was not enough for KKR to win.
Williamson & Co. have now won their all three matches played till now and they are at top of the IPL 2018 points table.
