A power-packed batting display by Royal Challengers Bangalore has come to an end at 205 for 8. Their batting is their strength and it has come to the fore today. They were put into bat and right from the word go they started attacking. Kohli did fall early but then the two South Africans, AB de Villiers and Quinton de Kock took charge.
The two stitched a 103-run stand with both scoring half-centuries. It was raining sixes while the two were out there and 220 looked possible.
During his half-century (68 off 30 balls), ABD also smashed the longest six of the IPL 2018 season. He sent the ball bowled by leg-spinner Imran Tahir out of the M. Chinnaswamy stadium.
